Genuine Fred Carter FC5-S Series folding knife, designed by Dr. Fred Carter — a degreed botanist and master craftsman with over 25 years of experience in custom knife-making and design. Dr. Carter has twice served as President of the Knifemakers’ Guild and has received numerous awards for excellence in craftsmanship.

This out-of-production FC5-S model features a 440 stainless steel plain-edge drop point blade with a bead-blasted finish and cryo-edged treatment, providing superior sharpness and long-lasting edge retention. The non-reflective silver handle is precision machined from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum with drilled hole design and anodized finish for maximum durability and lightweight balance.
