Authentic Marto “Rampant Lion” shield from Toledo, Spain — part of the Historic Shields Collection. The rampant lion is one of the oldest and most symbolic heraldic figures, representing bravery, valor, strength, and royalty. This rare early edition features the lion facing **right**, unlike later reproductions where the lion faces left.
Constructed by Marto with precision craftsmanship, the shield is made of metal with a raised lion motif, detailed etching, and brass rivets surrounding the border. Equipped with a rear chain for wall display. This is a decorative collectible — not intended for combat or functional use.
